Overview

The Culture Centre of Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences provides the students and staff of the university with the possibility to use their free time purposefully. The centre cooperates with other institutions and organises concerts, exhibitions and other important cultural events. Students from various faculties make up choirs and ensembles of various genres:

• Mixed choir “Ave vita”;
• Song and dance ensemble “Šviesa”;
• Chamber ensemble “Credo”;
• Folklore ensemble “Poringė”;
• Drama studio.

The students and staff organise various concerts and performances on national and international level. This gives students the chance not only to better express themselves, but to also be with like-minded people, develop respective competencies and knowledge which can then be applied in other fields of work and life.
